Melissa Jenks joined the firm in 2022 and is currently working as a Paralegal, specializing in the areas of estate planning and trust administration. Her work in this facet of law began over a decade ago, and her skills in estate planning and trust administration (as well as her love for it) have continued to grow.

Melissa takes pride in a job well done and attention to detail, which are necessary components of a successful estate plan or trust administration. She is also grateful to have many opportunities to be of service to families during some of their most difficult and sensitive times and strives to perform her duties with compassion and integrity.

While working with our returning Legacy Program clients, as well as our new clients, Melissa appreciates getting to know them on a personal level throughout the estate planning process. This is especially true with our Legacy Program members that we are so fortunate to work with on many occasions over the years. As Melissa works with each client to construct and maintain a tailored plan that is just right for them and their family, it is truly special to learn about each family’s story and the legacy that each client hopes to impart to their loved ones.

Melissa graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys cross-stitch and embroidery, painting, being a soccer mom, listening to anything written by The Beatles, and spending time with family and her ridiculously adorable dog Olive.
