Katie Shock has been Of Counsel to Kaiser Law Group since 2020. She and her husband Mike mainly live in Austin, Texas but often return to California where they spend time in Huntington Beach. She is licensed to practice law in both states.

Katie’s expertise is in estate planning for families, ranging from basic wills and trusts to complex tax planning for high net worth individuals. Katie has extensive experience in administrating large trusts and estates, including appearing before the California probate court, preparing estate and gift tax returns and trust accountings, and negotiating with the IRS. From 2018-2020, Katie and Mike stepped away from legal practice to fulfill a lifelong dream to sail around the world!!! They sailed to 12 different countries in three years and crossed the Pacific Ocean. We LOVE that our clients and our firm have the privilege to work with Katie – and yes, we have worked with her while she was sitting on her boat in Tahiti and using Starlink for internet!
